Frequently Asked Questions

1.) How often are swimming lessons offered?

Lessons are offered weekly. They are given Monday – Friday for 45 minutes per day. It is highly recommended that students take two weeks of swimming lessons per summer, especially for ages 5 and under.

2.) Where are lessons done?

I am located in Martins Mill and the lessons are given in my in-ground pool in my backyard.

3.) How much are lessons?

2 Day Swim Camps are $75.00 per child.
Group Lessons are $100 per child per week.
When available Private Lessons are $175.00 per child per week.

4.) What do I need to bring to my lessons?

Please wear your swimsuit and bring eye googles and a towel.  NO nose goggles are allowed.

5.) What  to do we do when we arrive for our lesson?

Parents and students should must remain on back porch until their scheduled swim time. Visitors and siblings must remain with parents at all times. No one is allowed to sit on the side of the pool.

6.) What if we show up late for our swim lesson?

Please be courteous of other swimmers in your class and make every effort to show up on time. There will be NO make-up lessons for swimmers who show up late for their lesson.

7.) Under what circumstances am I granted a make-up lesson?

Make-up lessons aren’t a part of our program. We schedule instructors prior to the work week to ensure the appropriate student/teacher ratios. Allowing make-up lessons for classes missed could compromise the quality of our program. Due to unforeseen weather conditions causing cancellation of a class it will be at the discretion of the instructor to assign a make-up for the day(s) lost.

8.) What if my child cries and does not want to go into the water?

We strongly encourage you to let us help! Our instructors are trained and will do whatever is necessary to help your swimmer feel comfortable and confident in water.
